At the time I used Family Tree Maker at http://www.familytreemaker.com/ but ran into trouble with the buggy-ness of the software.

Recently I wanted to edit the tree, and found that FTM would not load at all and they wanted $59 bucks to upgrade to vista version.

So I started my quest for free Family Tree Services. After a little poking around I stumbled across. Tribal Pages http://tribalpages.com/ wow this site rocks, and it is completely free. You can upgrade if you want to add larger photos or more info, but for the most part it costs nada…
