He was the adventurer in the family, the one who had the motivation to get out out of economically strapped Ireland and find a better way of life.

Seamus did this by traveling all over the world looking for that dream, he found it in Buffalo.

Then just about the entire family came.

So many that it seemed that all of Ireland was being emptied. Seamus being the great man he was assisted in getting everyone settled in and helped them find employment. When we have family gatherings and I see all of the extended relatives, well over 150 people. Seamus was the one who began it all.

He was responsibe for much happiness. It’s indeed a sad time for all of us. Now he’s with the Ma, the Da, Nellie,Josie, Danny, Noal, David, Sue & Aby, having a cup of tea & scuttering.
A way of life has passed but will nerver be forgotten!
